• The focus of the website is the same image as that on the poster (see poster deconstruction). Again, this is very appropriate for both the genre and the target audience as it draws on the elements of slasher and teen.

• Either side of the image fade to black which is ominous and adds makes the page appear more unnerving.

• The same typography of the title and tagline from the poster are featured to the left of the image so the image stays the focal point. This time the tagline is placed directly beneath the title, this way it’s in an eye-catching place.

• Further underneath on the page, there is a collection of quotes on the films. The quotes are in baby pink and where they’re from in white. This fits with the theme of prom as they’re girly, sweet colours. This text is slightly smaller than the tagline as it’s not as much of a focus but it’s still clear to see.

• On the other side of the image is the text ‘OWN IT TODAY! ON DVD AND DIGITAL DOWNLOAD’. This choice of content is a good promotional tool, especially with the clear white typography in capital letters. Here there is also a link to watch the trailer. This is not as effective as other websites which automatically play the trailer.

• Everything is based on one page of the website which is user-friendly but not very interactive or interesting.
